The nation has seen some interesting things take place among its borders this week. Super Tuesday simply brought forth John McCain as the clear Republican front-runner while Obama and Clinton continue to fight for the driver’s seat in the Democratic Party. Union University and other areas in the south were devastated by a series of rare winter tornado outbreaks. Yes, the nation has had an interesting week.
On this Thursday I am reminded of Joel 2.12-13, “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness.”

Dustin,
Thank you for the kind remarks about my article on the beatitudes in the Psalter. There is so much that I gleaned from that study that I was not able to fit into that post. I hope that others will take the opportunity to track down the beatitude psalms and preach through them. I greatly benefited from this study.
Jason,
Thank you for such a wonderful study and I hope to read more of your thoughts on the Psalms. It was my pleasure providing a link to your article in the sincere hope that others might be blessed as well.
